It’s not about clothing, it’s about relationships.
Originally from Tulsa Steve moved to Edmond in the fall of 1978 to attend Central State University to go to school and to play golf collegiately.
If there is one thing that he always prided himself on, it was his ability to banter! While at Kickingbird Golf Course, Steve struck up a relationship with a gentleman by the name of Morris “Hoot” Gibson.
Within 6 months, Allton knew he had found his passion. Steve worked under the mentorship of Gibson for 15 years before parting ways to start his own menswear shop. Steve opened his doors in 1995 and hasn’t looked back since.
“It’s not just about clothing for me. It’s about relationships. It’s about people. It’s about seeing a man’s whole countenance change when he puts on the perfect fitting suit for the first time.”
In the heart of Edmond.
For two decades, Allton’s has proudly called Edmond home. And now we are excited to move our location into the heart of Edmond’s business community.
Located on South Boulevard within walking distance to the Edmond Historical Society, the iconic Cafe 501, and the newly resurgent 5th Street District in Edmond, our new Allton’s location is in the heart of the “Old Edmond” revitalization. We’re excited to be a part of the return to Edmond’s core, and look forward to being a part of this vibrant community for years to come!
